I’m sending you some big sun energy from Dubai today.

In today’s letter, I want to share with you how to bring down the cost per wear of the wrap shirt and the wrap skirt by playing around and creating… 12 different vibes with the sand set.
12. LUNCH
Here I’m going for a lunch in terrace, to have some tomatoes on toast and a sparkling water with my sister. It’s relaxed enough, and yet I feel like myself with just a little bit of skin exposure.
11. BOOK CLUB
Here I’m going to my own book club: reading a book (The Creative Act by Rick Rubin) on the couch. Chill and ready to be interrupted any moment to find a toy, run to the grocery store or pick up the laundry. I’m at home, wearing the wrap skirt low on my waist, I don’t mind that it’s touching the floor.
10. DATE NIGHT
Fantasy scenario: we have a babysitter coming, and it’s just me + him going out for dinner at Edmondo in Hamburg.
9. BEACH CLUB
What I wore yesterday at the beach (500m from our house in Dubai). A one-piece swimsuit, and the wrap shirt loosely tied, to look like a mini-dress, with sandals.
8. FARMER’S MARKET
I’m in Provence in July, and I wake up early to be the first one at the farmer’s market, I want the best apricots, strawberries and peaches. I got dressed, but I could also just stop by the café before heading home with a basket full of fresh fruits. The wrap shirt is tied in the center, to mark the waist and create an interesting detail for the eye to land.
7. CREATIVE LAB
My city vibe. I go meet a friend, she is also a writer on Substack, and we have a matcha date. In my bag, I have a notebook and a pen, because we are here for a big brainstorming. I’m wearing the best fit denim jeans I own, and ballet flats for some toe coverage. The wrap skirt is loosely tied on the side.
6. MOCKTAIL
It’s a long summer day, we are going for a mocktail before dinner, no cobblestone, it’s easy, and I’ve just layered the wrap shirt on top of my day dress, because I know it might get chilly, and it’s giving me an extra mosquito-repellent dimension.
5. ART GALLERY
This is when my friend exhibits her work at the gallery, and I get to be there for the opening. I want to look and feel modest in the front, but sexy in the back. Wearing the shirt with the back in front, I create a bare back effect, and adding the wrap skirt, it looks like a dress, a one-piece garment that creates ease for the eye.
4. BRUNCH
My favourite time of the day. I’m a 3 breakfasts in a day woman, so when you say “let’s meet for brunch”, this is how I show up: the white dress, the wrap shirt loosely tied on the side (maybe we’ll sit inside, and the AC will be too strong for me?), flat sandals.. Chill vibe but still chic, no?
3. MANI-PEDI
It’s me in Dubai, I just go next door from our house for a mani-pedi. I don’t want sleeves, because… mani, and I don’t want long bottoms, because… pedi. It’s effortless, I’m here on a mission, hopefully it will be quick, and I’ll feel fabulous afterwards (no closed shoes here, because… fresh pedi!).
2. POOLSIDE
Going from the house to the pool, without leaving our building, here in Dubai. The wrap skirt is like a sarong here, and I can use it as a layer to cover my shoulders if the sun is too strong. Basket bag for the summer vibe, I’ll bring a book and my rose water mist.
1. CELEBRATION
The wrap skirt can also be tied in the front, and I love the vibe it creates. I’d come to your wedding dressed like this… because it would still feel very me.
